Igor Radojičić

Igor Radojičić is the former President of the People's Assembly of Republika Srpska, an entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and following the death of President Milan Jelić, was acting President of Republika Srpska from October 1, 2007 to 28 December 2007. He was the Mayor of Banja Luka, the capital of the Bosnian Serb entity Republika Srpska of Bosnia-Herzegovina running on the ticket of the ruling Bosnian Serb Alliance of Independent Social Democrats SNSD party from 2016 to 2020.

Radojičić, born in Banja Luka in 1966, holds an M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering and has published numerous works on the subject.

 In the late 1980s, Radojičić was a member of the leadership of the Association of Socialist Youth of Bosnia and Herzegovina and SNSD Secretary General, He was elected to the People's Assembly at the 1998 elections, and has held the office of Chairman of the National Assembly since the 2006 elections. He held the office until presidential elections in 2007.

Radojičić is married and father of two.
