- INFONAVIT is an autonomous organization with a corporate government that includes equal representation of the labor, employer and Federal Government sectors. It manages around 25% of Mexican workers' savings, and is the largest mortgage lender to lowincome families in Mexico and Latin America.
- Responsible for the design and implementation of financial instruments that aid in the sustainable development of the housing sector, improving the environment, promoting the incorporation of sustainability criteria in house building and urban development, mitigating climate change, and ensuring energy and water savings.
